This ale is very lightly hopped. The focus is to explore rich and sweet malt characters. Notes of butterscotch, toffee and caramel reward drinkers of Red Duck Amber.
BURTON STRONG BITTER 5.4% Alc/vol
A highly hopped, traditional English style ale, rich flavours and aromas. Red Duck Burton Strong Bitter is more closely related to the original Burton pale ales from the start of the 18th century, than its descendant, India Pale Ale.Red Duck Burton Strong Bitter is best served from 6°C to 12°C, depending on the individuals preference, and in a pint glass. It has quite low carbonation levels, like traditional british pub ales, with a small, but creamy head.
PALE ALE 4.5% Alc/vol
Lightly hopped at the start of boil, generously hopped late and a handful of hops in the fermenter give Red Duck Pale Ale low bitterness and great aromas. The blend of malts and a traditional English ale yeast give full flavour and good body. A refreshing, sparkling ale that is clean and crisp.
PORTER 6.4% Alc/vol
A dark ale that has been described by drinkers as having notes of chocolate, plum, ripe berryish characters, dark toffee, molasses and liquorice. We just say that its dark and rich, with intense malt flavours.
